Software developer intern (remote)

We are currently seeking a Back-End Mobile App Developer to contribute to our mission.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Strong experience in back-end development for mobile applications.
- Proficiency in database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with server-side technologies and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
- Passion for financial technology and innovation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of mobile app development best practices.
Responsibilities for Software developer intern (2 positions)
Core
- Design, develop, and maintain the back-end of mobile applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Create and maintain databases, APIs, and server infrastructure.
- Optimize application code for speed and scalability.
- Implement security measures to protect user data and application integrity.
- Troubleshoot and debug application errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
General
- Attend remote meetings as required.
- Assist in technical decision-making and project planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Hours
- Work hours are based on business requirements, including weekends and evenings when needed.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project demands.
Internship period
- The internship will start on January 15, 2024, and run for two months until March 15, 2024.
- A permanent offer may be considered upon evaluating your contribution during the internship, if desired.
Stipend
This is a part-time opportunity and attracts a stipend ranging between $3 to $15 per working hour depending on your experience.
